Shops & selling

The DIY Shop is a hall of doors, each leading to a theme shop: holidays, birthdays and past events, like Halloween, Christmas, Aquatic, Candy Land or the current Football event. Each event's items make up a collection on the wiki.

1. Walk up to an item in a shop and tap it.
2. Check the price and confirm: the item lands in your chest.

• Prices are in coins, treats or (at the Arcade) tickets. Buying also gives XP.
• Some listings only sell for a few days. After that the shop says “Item expired!”, and the wiki shows them as “Was sold for”.
• A few items have a limit per player, like 5 of the Easter Bakery Tile.
• Arcade prizes need a high enough arcade level.
• No shop is locked by level.
• In Brazil and Belgium, surprise boxes and eggs can't be bought with treats (coins are fine).

Tap the heart in a shop's buy popup to save an item to your wishlist (up to 60). Open it from the heart button in shops or in the destination list, and buy from anywhere, without walking back to the shop.

• Pin things you buy often (like snacks or bait) to keep them and buy up to 50 at a time.
• Each row tells you what's missing: “Need 300 more coins”, “Back in the shop on…” or “No longer sold”.

1. At home, tap Sell.
2. Pick things from your chest (up to 200 at once): they line up under “To sell”.
3. Confirm: “Sold 4 things for 3,000 coins!”

• Each item's sell value is on its wiki page. For most coin items it's about a third of the shop price; treat items sell for about 50 coins per treat they cost.
• Only things in your chest can be sold: put placed things away first.
• Petlings can't be sold, nor clothes a petling is wearing or presents you haven't opened. Open coin bags instead of selling them.
• The game asks you to check before selling anything worth 2,500 coins or more, treat or ticket bags, or a sale of 5,000+.

The bank sells treat packs and Arcade ticket packs for real money (packs also come with bonus items). Any bank purchase unlocks the floss and cry emotes. Before any purchase the game asks your age, and a grown-up's question follows for players under 16.
