Rooms differ in width: a small extra room is 30 wide, a medium 55, a big 100, and level rooms 50. There's no limit on how many things you put in a room.

Tap the Rooms button on your home bar to open “My rooms”:

• Tap a room to go there (your changes are saved on the way).
• Tap the little house on a room to make it your start room: you arrive there when you come home, and so do your visitors.
• New room: pick a size and build it with treats.
• Filter with All, Home, Gardens and Special.

1. Open your chest: you're in decorate mode.
2. Drag things from the chest into the room, or drag placed things around.
3. Tap a thing to select it for the tool bar.

• Flip, Smaller / Bigger (5% a tap, hold to repeat), Back / Front, Copy (put out another one) and Put away.
• Undo remembers your last 40 changes. Look hides the buttons so you can admire your room.
• Tap things outside decorate mode and your pet uses them: beds and chairs to sit, baths, toilets, vending machines and more.

• Drag a wallpaper onto the wall or a floor onto the floor: the old one goes back to your chest.
• Almost every wallpaper and floor works in any room. A few themed ones only fit their own special room, and the garden's wall can't be papered.
• Flip a light switch (like the ) and the room goes dark: glowing items light up. Rooms always load with the lights on.

Room and outfit changes are kept when you press Save (the floppy disk), change room, or travel. The game also saves when you leave the app. A red ! on the Save button means you have unsaved changes.

• Everything you buy, win or catch lands in your chest. A red dot shows what's new.
• Tabs: All, Care, Food, Decor, Toys and Garden. Tap a thing to see how to use it.
• There's no limit on how much it holds.
• Sell from the Sell button: see Shops & selling.

Tap the Camera at home, at a friend's, at parties or in the shops to take a photo: pick a shape (wide, square, tall, or a sticker with no background), a pose and a timer. Then add a look and a caption, and keep it in your album (More → Album), or save it to your device.

• The album holds 300 photos, with favourites and a Memory Lane slideshow.
• Photos stay on your device: nobody else can see your album.
